InnerHub Productions

Why We Exist

Nigeria has stories
the world needs to hear.

InnerHub Productions makes cinema from Jos, in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, the religious and cultural crossroads of the country, far from the studios of Lagos and the markets of Kano. It is from this ground, where faith and family and a thousand untold stories meet, that we make films.

We tell the truth about African life: stories of faith, family, dignity, and redemption, told with the kind of honesty that travels. We believe African cinema does not have to choose between quality and cultural authenticity. Between faith and honesty. Between local roots and global reach.

Sa’Ana proved it can hold all of those at once, earning 22 international recognitions across nine countries and four continents, including five award wins, before a single Nigerian screening.

One Calling, Two Engines

We make the films.
We make the filmmakers.

The Studio

Faith rooted features, series, and documentaries that prove Nigerian stories belong on any screen in the world, held to a standard that travels past our borders without losing what makes it ours.

The Academy

Since 2010, InnerHub Film Academy has trained more than 150 filmmakers now working across the industry, because a single studio’s films were never the point. A generation of storytellers was.

Bola & Aimee Adebisi

Writer · Director · Filmmaker

Bola & Aimee Adebisi are the Directors and Founders of InnerHub Productions and InnerHub Film Academy, based in Rayfield, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

A writer, director, and filmmaker with a deep commitment to faith informed storytelling, his work is rooted in the belief that Nigerian stories carry a power the world has not fully encountered yet, and that they are best told by the people who live them.

In 2010 he founded InnerHub Film Academy to train that next generation at home, in Jos. Its alumni now work across the Nigerian film industry. The studio followed the same conviction onto the screen.

Sa’Ana, his most recent work, has earned 22 international recognitions across nine countries and four continents, including five award wins, establishing InnerHub as a distinctive voice in African cinema.

“We didn’t start InnerHub because the industry lacked content. We started it because it lacked our content, the stories of our people, told in our voices, from our own ground.”

01

Nigeria is not a footnote.

Its stories carry a cultural depth and specificity that the best cinema is built on. We go deeper into it, not away from it.

02

Faith is not a limit. It is a lens.

Faith-informed storytelling, done with honesty and craft, is among the most compelling cinema in the world.

03

The future of African film starts here.

InnerHub Film Academy trains the filmmakers who will carry this vision forward, in Nigeria, from the Middle Belt.
